Nag-isyu na ang Senado ng arrest order laban kay Lloyd Christopher Lao, ang dating OIC ng Procurement Service ng Department of Budget and Management o PS DBM.
Ayon kay Senate President Tito Sotto III nilagdaan na niya ngayon ang arrest order.
Ang pagpapaaresto kay Lao ay bunsod ng pag-contempt sa kanya ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee dahil sa hindi pagsipot sa mga pagdinig ukol sa hinihinalang katiwalian at anumalya sa pagbili ng PS-DBM ng pandemic supplies.
Ikaapat na beses nang hindi dumalo si Lao sa pagdinig ng Blue Ribbon Committee kahapon.
Si Lao ang OIC ng PS DBM nung bumili ang ahensya ng pandemic supplies sa hinihinalang pinaborang Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation.
