Hinihirit ng opisyal ng gobyerno sa mga gobernador ng iba-ibang probinsiya na alisin na ang RT-PCR test requirement para sa mga fully vaccinated domestic travellers.
Ito ang hiling ni Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion nitong September 27 para mapalakas ang tourism activities ng bansa.
Panawagan din ito ng Cebu Pacific at Philippine Airlines para maparami ang bilang ng domestic travel sa bansa.
“We have to start allowing mobility for our tourism site, we met with our governors, mayors of the top tourists’ destinations,” pahayag ni Concepcion sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News Channel.
“We’re asking them to waive the PCR tests that’s a very expensive test. They’re open to the idea of allowing airlines to fly passengers without PCR tests anymore,” dagdag pa ni Concepcion.
Ayon kay Concepcion, kung ang usapin lamang ay ang pagpapabakuna kontra COVID-19, hindi na magiging isyu ang suplay dahil maraming mga doses ng bakuna ang dumating kamakailan.
Dagdag pa ni Concepcion na target din na bawasan ang quarantine period mula 10 araw sa limang araw na lang para sa mga fully vaccinated international travellers.
Isinusulong din ng mga airline company na alisin ang arrival cap na sa kasalukuyan ay 2,000 kada araw lamang.
