Rerepasuhin ng Department of Health (DOH) ang kanilang proposed 2022 budget upang makahanap ng pondo para sa special risk allowance (SRA) ng health workers.
Matatandaang kinuwestyon ni Marikina Second District Representative Stella Quimbo sa House deliberations ng DOH budget kung saan ang SRA ng health workers ay hindi kasama sa 2022 budget.
Sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, inatasan ang DOH ng House of Representatives na maghanap ng pondo dahil sa ang Bayanihan 3 ay kasalukuyang “hanging in balance.”
“Napag-utusan kami ng House of Representatives na muling balikan ang aming budget para mairebisa at makita kung ano ang pwede nating mga i-forego muna for 2022 so that can identify budget or mai-set aside ang budget para dito sa SRA ng healthcare worker.”
Paliwanag naman ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, hindi napasama ang SRA sa proposed DOH budget dahil sa natapyasan na sila sa budget ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
