Muling binanatan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang International Criminal Court (ICC) ukol sa imbestigasyon nito sa madugong kampanya kontra droga ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas.
“They want me to go to prison. Well, maybe, but it has to be a Philippine prison and I must be judged by a judicial court of the Republic of the Philippines and I must be prosecuted, kailangan Pilipino,” ayon sa pangulo sa talumpati sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Nagtungo sa Palawan ang pangulo para sa pagpapasinaya ng Philippine Ports Authority seaport expansion project at Philippine Coast Guard Kalayaan station.
“Mag-ice na ang impyerno, hindi ako papayag sa kalokohan nila… Jurisdiction? Ako? Akong haharap ng mga judges na puti? [expletives] Haharap ako ng Filipino judges, hindi kayo,” ayon sa pangulo.
Inako rin ng pangulo ang buong responsibilidad para sa pagpatay sa mga drug lords at mga alkalde na sangkot sa ilegal na droga.
“Mayroon tayong mga kasalanan, admitted man iyan, either intentional or unintentional… Pero iyong mga drug lords na ni-raid tapos pinatay at mga mayors, akin iyan,” pahayag ni Duterte.
“I assume full responsibility and if there’s anybody who should go to prison, it should not be the police or [Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency], it should be me because they were acting upon my orders,” giit ng Pangulo.
