Kinoronahang Miss World Philippines 2021 si Tracy Maureen Perez sa ginanap na koronasyon sa Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, Olongapo, Zambalez nitong October 3.
Si Tracy ang napili mula sa 44 kandidata na ipadadala ng Pilipinas sa 70th Miss World pageant sa Puerto Rico na gaganapin sa Disyembre.
Sa Q&A portion, tanong kay Perez: “After we go through this pandemic, what would you want us to learn from it?”
“After this pandemic, I hope that we never take for granted the family that we have, taking care of our health, and taking care of the people that protect us— our leaders, our frontliners. We should always give importance to those people. We may not see the efforts that they give out, but most definitely, they are our modern heroes and for that, we should always be grateful and we should always stick with them and pray for them,” ang naging sagot ni Perez.
Ang 28 anyos na si Tracy ay mula sa Cebu City at karaniwan nang sumasali sa mga beauty pageant.
Nauna siyang sumali sa Ms. World Philippines noong 2019 kung saan pumasok siya sa Top 12.
Sumali rin si Tracy sa Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant kung saan nakuha niya ang Best in Swimsuit at Miss Photogenic.
