Ibinaba ng gobyerno ang quarantine status sa mga lalawigan ng Bulacan, Apayao, at Capiz sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ang GCQ status sa mga nasabing probinsiya at magiging epektibo simula bukas, October 18 hanggang 31.
Una nang isinailalim ng Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ang Bulacan at Apayao sa Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, samantalang ang Capiz naman ay dating nasa GCQ with heightened restrictions.
Ang Metro Manila naman ay nagsimula nang sumailalaim sa Alert Level 3 simula noong Sabado, October 16, dahil na rin sa pagbaba ng mga Covid-19 cases.
Sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3 status ay pinapayagan nang mag-operate o magbukas sa
30 percent capacity ang restaurants, gyms, wellness and aesthetic centers gaya ng spas, internet cafes, museums, libraries, billiard halls, cinemas at amusement arcades.
Ang 30percent na indoor capacity ay para lamang sa fully vaccinated individuals.
