Inilabas ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang bagong testing at quarantine protocols para sa international arriving passengers mula sa green at yellow list of countries, territories at jurisdictions epektibo ngayon, October 8, 2021.
Sa mga kumpletong bakunado, kailangan pa ring sumailalim sa quarantine hanggang sa mailabas ang negative RT-PCR testing na kinuha sa ika-limang araw ng pagdating.
Pagkatapos nito, kailangang mag-home quarantine hanggang sa ika-10 araw mula ng pagdating sa bansa.
Ang mga unvaccinated at partially vaccinated ay kailangan pa rin sumailalim sa quarantine at hintayin ang negatibong resulta ng RT-PCR testing na kukunin sa ika-pitong araw.
Kailangan ding mag-home quarantine hanggang 14 na araw mula nang dumating sa bansa.
Sa foreign nationals, kailangang mag-secure ng sariling pre-booked accommodation na anim na araw para sa mga fully vaccinated at walong araw sa mga wala pang bakuna o isang dose pa lang ang naiturok.
Protocol para sa close contacts
Inaprubahan din ng IATF ang protocols para sa close contacts ng probable, suspected at confirmed COVID-19 cases.
“Fully vaccinated individuals who are close contacts of probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases may undergo a 7-day quarantine period provided the individual remains asymptomatic for the duration of the 7-day period with the 1st day being the date immediately after the last exposure,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
“In the event that RT-PCR test needs to be performed on the asymptomatic individual, it may be done not earlier than the 5th day after the date of the last exposure,” dagdag pa ni Roque.
Kapag ang RT-PCR test ay positibo at symptomatic ang indibidwal, susundin ang itinakdang testing at isolation protocols.
