FDA, NAGBABALA LABAN SA ILANG FOOD PRODUCTS AT FOOD SUPPLEMENT NA WALANG CERTIFICATE OF PRODUCT REGISTRATION

Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) laban sa ilang food products at food supplement sa merkado.

Pinag-iingat ng FDA ang mga healthcare profesional at publiko sa paggamit o pagbili ng mga produktong walang Certificate of Product Registration.

Sa magkakahiwalay na abiso ay pinangalanan ng FDA ang mga nasabing produkto .

Ang mga nasabing produkto ay ang mga sumusunod:

Sinabi pa ng FDA na ipinagbabawal ang mga nabanggit na produkto dahil sa walang kaukulang permiso galing sa ahensya.

“Pursuant to the Republic Act No. 9711, otherwise known as the “Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009”, the manufacture, importation, exportation, sale, offering for sale, distribution, transfer, non-consumer use, promotion, advertising or sponsorship of health products without the proper authorization is prohibited,” ayon spa a  FDA

Babala ng FDA, hindi nakasisiguro na ang nasabing produkto ay ligtas at de kalidad dahil ito ay hindi  dumaan sa proseso.

“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute, advertise, or sell the said violative food products until CPR are issued, otherwise, regulatory actions and sanctions shall be strictly pursued,”

Pinaalalahanan din ng FDA ang mga establisimyento at publiko na suriin ang FDA registration number ng produkto sa pamamagitan ng FDA Verification Portal.

Pinatitiyak din ng FDA sa mga local government units na tiyaking hindi naibebenta  ang nasabing mga produkto sa merkado  ng kanilang nasasakupan.

Hinikayat din nito ang Bureau of Customs na pigilan ang pagpasok ng  unregistered imported products.
