Inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang panukala ng Commission on Higher Education na gawing unti-unti ang pagbabalik sa face-to-face classes sa lahat ng kurso sa kolehiyo sa bansa.
Sa anunsyo ni acting Malakanyang spokesperson Karlo Nograles, inaprubahan ng IATF ang resolution no. 148-G “which adopts the Phased Implementation of Limited Face-to-Face Classes for All Programs under the Alert Levels System for COVID-19 Response of CHED.”
Sa ilalim ng nasabing panukala, mandato ng CHED na isagawa ang phased implementation program upang masigurong ligtas ang muling pagbubukas ng higher education campuses.
Ipinaliwanag naman ni Nograles ang mga mangyayari kada phases:
Sa Phase 1 implementation period ay mula “December 2021 onwards.”
Sa panahon ng phase na ito, ang lahat ng higher education institutions (HEIs) sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng Alert Level 2 ay maaaring mag-apply para sa limited face-to-face classes.
Ang Phase 2 implementation period, sa kabilang dako, ay mula “January 2022 onwards.”
Sa phase na ito, ang lahat ng HEIs sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng Alert Level 3 ay maaaring mag-apply para sa limited face-to-face classes.
“This circular serves as a guide for HEIs that intend to hold limited face-to-face classes and are willing to assume the responsibilities for the reopening of their campuses based on the following: (1) their capability to comply with health and safety protocols, (2) to retrofit their facilities, and (3) to get the support of their stakeholders,” dagdag na pahayag ni Nograles.
Base sa guidelines ng nationwide implementation ng Alert Levels System for COVID-19 Response, ang limited face-to-face classes ay pinapayagan na ngayon sa ilalim ng Alert Levels 1, 2 at 3.
“Subject to certain conditions” pa rin naman ito tulad ng 50% indoor venue capacity, walang sasalungat o kokontra mula sa local government unit, at ang magpapartisipa lamang ay ang fully vaccinated teaching at non-teaching personnel at mga estudyante.
