Ipinaubaya na ng Metro Manila mayors ang desisyon sa Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) hinggil sa pagpapataw ng restriksyon sa paglabas ng mga menor de edad.
Sa interbyu ni San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora sa CNN Philippines, sinabi niya na nilagdaan ng Metro Manila Council ang resolusyon na ibinabalik sa IATF ang kapangyarihang magdesisyon sa isyu.
“That is the decision of the Metro Manila Council,” ani Zamora.
“In fact, they have already passed a resolution last night to defer this to the wisdom of the IATF.”
“No one can really point out (how) the minor was infected… so the decision of the Metro Manila mayors is to defer to the wisdom of the IATF because they have the experts, they have the economists, and it’s best they conduct further studies regarding this case.”
Pinatutungkulan ni Zamora ang insidente kamakailan ng nagpositibong dalawang taong gulang matapos na pumunta umano ng mall.
Matatandaang pinapayagan nang makapamasyal ang mga bata sa NCR matapos isailalim ito sa Alert Level 2.
