Umabot sa 1,015,560 doses ng Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine na binili ng gobyerno ang dumating sa Pilipinas, Huwebes ng gabi, October 14.

Sa nasabing bilang 76,050 doses ang idiniliber sa Cebu City, Huwebes ng gabi, habang ang 77,220 doses naman ang idiniretsyo sa Davao City ngayong Biyernes, Oct. 15.

Ang natitirang 862,290 doses ay ibinaba sa NAIA Terminal 3 at agad na idinala sa PharmaServ Express’ cold-chain facility.

Ang nasabing shipment ay ipakakalat sa Metro Manila at gagamitin sa pagbabakuna sa edad 12 hanggang 17.

Mababahagian din ang Region 3 at Region IV-A ng nasabing shipment ng bakuna.

“I’m encouraging all different LGU to be creative and coordinate with the military, stakeholders, and also the private sector so that you can use the malls, hospitals, sports centers, and you can use any facility that can be used as a vaccination center,” pahayag ni National Task Force Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito G. Galvez Jr.
