“Potential cause for concern.”
“This could definitely be a potential for serious concern. The concern is this virus is now radically different to the original,” saad ni OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David.
“We will monitor this in terms of infectiousness and vaccine escape,” pahayag ni David.
“I personally think we should escalate whatever restrictions we have with South Africa and Botswana at the moment,” dagdag pa ni David.
Samantala, inaabangan ang magiging pahayag ng Department of Health (DOH) tungkol dito.
“Nagpapa-meeting po yung WHO (World Health Organization) ngayong araw,” pahayag ni DOH director Dr. Beverly Ho.
“Kakalabas lang ng kanilang advisory at malalaman natin later in the day or siguro tomorrow kung ano yung hatol dito,” dagdag ni Ho.
